मैहर शहर नेशनल हाई वे-"सात" से जुड़ा है ,माँ शारदा की नगरी है इस लिए मध्य प्रदेश शाशन ने इस शहर को पवित्र नगरी घोषित किया है ,रेल मार्ग से मुंबई > भुसावल > नासिक >खंडवा >इटारसी > जबलपुर >कटनी > मैहर < सतना< मानिकपुर< इलाहाबाद < वाराणसी मार्ग में स्थित है इलाहाबाद से २१२ किमी ,जबलपुर से १६०किमि ,सतना से ३६किमि ,भोपाल से ५५६ किमी डेल्ही से ७०० किमी है यह सतना जिला में है | राज्य मध्य प्रदेश है | यहाँ पर बहुत सीमेंट फैक्टरी है ,माँ सरदा का मदिर पहाड़ में बड़े ही रोचक ,सुंदर पवित्र बना है ,माँ शारदा के दर्शन के लिए पुरे भारत से लोग यहाँ आते है , इसके आस पास और अनेको मन्दिर है ,जैसे ओइला मदिर ,बड़ी माई,बाबा तालाब,बड़ा अखाडा ,गोला मैथ आदि ,यहाँ पर रेलवे स्टेशन है बहुत सी गाड़िया रूकती है जैसे
महागागरी ,पवन ,कशी ,मेल ,जनता ,महाकौशल ,रेवांचल ,शिप्रा ,पटना पुणे ,सारनाथ ,कामायनी ,जबलपुर -रेवा पसिंजर ,इटारसी -सतना ,बिलासपुर -जबलपुर , इटारसी -इलाहाबाद ,चित्रकूट एक्स प्रेस ,आदि ,

We have given a general guidance in website. However, it is without its past originating history which might be somewhere in the Temple Trust.
It is respectfully submitted that the traditional history of this temple may also be got inserted so that the general public must know of its traditional value as to exactly from where our Excellency Sharda Mai originated as a Shakti peethh.
Hope this will be done so that we get more value and popularity as compared to now.
